# Navigating the Platform

Once you are signed in, every page of the Ibexa Agentic Marketing Platform shares the same layout. Understanding the key areas of the screen will help you move around quickly and efficiently.

## Layout Overview

The interface is divided into four main areas:

## Top Bar

The top bar is always visible. From left to right it contains:

### App Switcher Toggle

The grid icon at the far left opens the **App Switcher** - a panel listing all Ibexa suite products (Ibexa, Cohesivo, Actito, Qualifio, Quable, Raptor). Select any product logo to open that product in a new tab. The currently active application is highlighted. Select the icon again to close the panel.

### Logo

The Ibexa logo confirms which product you are using.

### Search *(coming soon)*

A search bar is displayed in the centre of the top bar. It is not yet active - hovering over it shows a *"Coming soon"* tooltip.

### AI Credits Usage

Available to **Owners and Administrators**. A credit usage indicator shows how many AI credits have been consumed against the monthly allowance. Hover over it to see a popover with:

* **Credits remaining** in the current billing period
* **Credits used** so far
* **Renewal date** - when the allowance resets
* A **View usage and budget** link that takes you directly to the Budget page

### Ask AI

The **Ask AI** button opens or closes the AI Assistant panel on the right side of the screen. If no assistant agent has been configured for your organisation, the button shows a tooltip explaining that an administrator needs to set one up first.

### Notifications

A bell icon in the top bar is reserved for notifications. This feature is coming soon.

### User Menu

Your avatar is displayed at the right end of the top bar. Select it to open the user menu, which shows your name and two options:

* **User Settings** - opens your personal profile and password settings
* **Log Out** - signs you out and returns you to the login page

## Main Menu

The collapsible menu on the left side of the screen is the primary way to navigate between sections of the platform. The menu is visible on every authenticated page.

### Collapsing and Expanding

Select the **arrow toggle** at the top of the main menu to collapse it to icon-only view, saving screen space. Select it again to expand it back to full labels. Your preference is remembered while you are signed in.

### Menu Items by Role

The sections displayed in the main menu depend on your role:

#### All Users

| Item               | Description                       |

| **Dashboard**      | Your personalised home page       |
| **Agents**         | Browse and manage AI agents       |
| **Knowledge Base** | Organisation document library     |
| **Reports**        | View and manage published reports |

#### Owners and Administrators (additional)

An **Organisation** section appears with sub-items:

| **AI Models**           | Manage connected AI model providers        |
| **MCP Servers**         | Manage MCP tool servers                    |
| **MCP Server Requests** | Review member requests for new MCP servers |
| **Budget**              | Monitor credit usage and spending          |
| **Members**             | Manage organisation members                |
| **Settings**            | Organisation-wide settings                 |

> **Note:** The Agents Browser and MCP Browser catalogs are not separate menu items - reach them via the **Add Agent** button on the Agents page and the **Add MCP Server** button on the MCP Servers page, respectively.

### Sub-menus

Menu items with sub-items (such as **Organisation**) show a chevron indicator. In expanded menu mode, select the item label to toggle the sub-menu open or closed. In collapsed (icon-only) mode, hovering over the item reveals a flyout panel with the sub-items listed. The currently active page is highlighted in the menu. If you are on a sub-page, the parent item is also highlighted.

## AI Assistant Panel

Select **Ask AI** in the top bar to open the AI Assistant - a chat interface powered by the organisation's default assistant agent. The panel slides in from the right side of the screen without leaving your current page. Within the assistant you can:

* Start a new conversation
* Continue a previous conversation (automatically restored from your last session)
* Expand the assistant to full screen
* Close it by selecting **Ask AI** again or the close button inside the panel

> **Note:** The AI Assistant is only available if an Administrator has configured a default assistant agent for your organisation.
