# Budget

The **Budget** page gives Administrators a complete view of the organisation's AI credit consumption, spending history, cost projections, and usage breakdowns. Go to **Budget** in the main menu to open it.

> **Note:** The Budget page is available to **Administrators** and **Owners** only. Regular members do not have access.

The Budget page is made up of several sections displayed in order from top to bottom:

1. **Credit balance** - current credit balances for the billing period
2. **Buy extra credits** - option to purchase additional credits *(coming soon)*
3. **Credit usage chart** - top spenders by agent, user, or execution
4. **Budget history chart** - cumulative usage against the monthly limit for past months
5. **Cost forecast chart** - projected spending for the coming months
6. **Model usage table** - breakdown of AI model usage across agents *(coming soon - currently showing sample data)*
7. **Agent usage table** - breakdown of agent activity and unique users *(coming soon - currently showing sample data)*

## Credit Balance

The credit balance section shows two cards side by side:

### Base Credits

Displays how many AI credits have been consumed from the organisation's **monthly base allowance** during the current billing period. A progress bar shows used credits against the total allowance. The card also shows the date the allowance refreshes and how many days remain in the billing period.

### Extra Credits

Displays the number of **purchased extra credits** remaining for the current billing period. Extra credits are used on top of the base allowance once it is exhausted.

> **Note:** Extra credits do not roll over to the next billing period - any unused extra credits expire at the end of the billing period.

## Buying Extra Credits

The **Need more credits?** card is where you will be able to purchase additional credits to extend your organisation's capacity beyond the monthly base allowance. Purchasing is not yet available: the card is inactive and hovering over it shows a *"Coming soon"* tooltip, so **Buy extra credits** (or **Buy more credits** if extra credits are already active) cannot be selected yet.

## Credit Usage Chart

This chart shows the **top 10 credit spenders** for your organisation within a selected time range.

### Switching the View

Use the tabs above the chart to change which dimension is displayed:

| Tab            | What it shows                                          |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Agents**     | The 10 agents that consumed the most credits           |
| **Users**      | The 10 users who consumed the most credits             |
| **Executions** | The 10 agent executions that consumed the most credits |

### Filtering by Date

Open the date range picker to narrow the chart to a specific period. Leave it set to **All time** to see the full history.

### Downloading the Data

Select **CSV** to download the currently displayed data as a comma-separated file.

## Budget History Chart

This chart shows **cumulative credit consumption** throughout a selected month, plotted against the monthly package limit. Use it to see whether - and on which day - usage reached or exceeded the limit.

### Choosing the Data Type

Use the tabs to switch between:

| Tab             | What it shows                                               |
| --------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Base usage**  | Credits consumed from the base monthly allowance only       |
| **Total usage** | All credits consumed, including any extra credits purchased |

### Selecting a Month

Use the month dropdown to view any recent month. The chart defaults to the current month.

### Reading the Chart

* The **Usage** line shows how credit consumption accumulated day by day through the month.
* The **Monthly limit** line shows the fixed package limit.
* If consumption crossed the monthly limit, a dot marker indicates the exact point where the limit was reached.

## Cost Forecast Chart

The **Cost Forecast** chart projects your organisation's expected spending for upcoming months based on historical usage. It displays two lines:

| Line          | Meaning                              |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------ |
| **Actual**    | Confirmed spending for past months   |
| **Predicted** | Projected spending for future months |

### Changing the Forecast Method

Use the dropdown in the top-right corner of the chart to select the forecasting algorithm:

| Method          | Description                                                 |
| --------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Seasonality** | Accounts for repeating seasonal patterns in usage           |
| **Linear**      | Projects spending in a straight line based on recent trends |

### Exporting the Forecast

Select **PNG** to download the chart as an image, or **CSV** to download the raw forecast data.
