# Built-in MCP Servers

The platform ships a set of **built-in MCP servers** that are always available - they require no external credentials, no OAuth connection, and no configuration beyond attaching them to an agent. They fall into a few groups:

| **Group** | **Server(s)** | **Purpose** |

| Content validation (built-in agents) | [Translation MCP Server](/manual/organisation/built-in-mcp-servers/translation-tools-mcp-server.md), [Content Validation MCP Servers](/manual/organisation/built-in-mcp-servers/content-validation-tools-mcp-servers.md) | Deterministic, code-based "final check" validators used internally by the platform's built-in content-generation agents (translation, headlines, FAQs, summaries, sentiment, and more). |

Most organisations only need to think about the first four groups when configuring their own agents. The content-validation servers are documented for transparency, but are wired internally to specific built-in agents rather than intended for general attachment.
