# Organisation Settings

This guide explains how to configure your organisation's default settings on the Ibexa Agentic Marketing Platform.

## Before You Begin

You must be logged in as the **Owner** or an **Administrator** of your organisation. Standard members do not have access to Organisation Settings.

## What You Can Configure

The Organisation Settings page contains a **General** section with three settings:

| Setting                     | Description                                                                                                            |
| --------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Default Model**           | The AI language model used by default across your organisation when no specific model is chosen.                       |
| **Default Embedding Model** | The AI model used by default for embedding tasks (such as knowledge base search).                                      |
| **Default Assistant Agent** | The agent that appears by default in the assistant sidebar for members of your organisation across all Ibexa products. |

## Steps to Configure Organisation Settings

### 1. Go to Organisation Settings

In the main menu, go to **Organisation Settings**.

### 2. Set the Default Model

In the **Default Model** field, open the dropdown and select the AI language model you want to use as the organisation-wide default.

### 3. Set the Default Embedding Model

In the **Default Embedding Model** field, open the dropdown and select the embedding model you want to use as the organisation-wide default.

### 4. Set the Default Assistant Agent

In the **Default Assistant Agent** field, open the dropdown and select the agent that should appear by default in the assistant for all members of your organisation. If you do not want to set a default assistant agent, leave this field empty.

### 5. Save the changes

Select **Save**. A confirmation message will appear briefly on screen once the settings have been saved successfully.

> **Note:** The **Save** button is only active when you have made a change. If no changes have been made, the button remains greyed out.

## What Happens Next

The updated defaults take effect for your organisation immediately. Members will see the new default model and assistant agent on their next page load or when starting a new session.

## Troubleshooting

| Issue                                                     | What to do                                                                                                      |
| --------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Organisation Settings** is not visible in the main menu | Your account does not have Owner or Admin permissions. Contact your organisation owner.                         |
| A model or agent you expect is not listed in the dropdown | The model or agent may not have been configured for your organisation yet. Contact your platform administrator. |
| The **Save** button is greyed out                         | No changes have been made. Update at least one field to enable the button.                                      |
| The settings do not save                                  | Check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, refresh the page.                        |
